# Product reviews

**Note | \_Shopify’s Product reviews app is no longer available for download**\_. Shopify will continue to support merchants who have previously downloaded the app, and the following sections are available only to those merchants.

If you downloaded Shopify's Product Reviews app before it was discontinued (September 2023), the **Reviews section** and **Star rating block** will be available in the theme editor.

Otherwise, you can find third-party review apps on the [Shopify app store](https://apps.shopify.com/search?q=reviews).

## **Add Shopify product reviews section**

If you downloaded Shopify's Product Reviews app before September 2023, the **Reviews section** will be available to add in your **Products** template under **Product overview**.

In your theme editor (**Customize**):

1. Select a **Products** template to edit.
2. Under **Template**, click **(+) Add section**.
3. Under **Apps**, select **Product reviews**.
4. (*Optional*.) Click and hold the drag handles **`⋮⋮`** to rearrange the section:

## **Add Shopify star rating block**

If you downloaded Shopify's Product Reviews app before September 2023, the **Star rating block** will be available to add in your **Products** template under **Product overview**.

In your theme editor (**Customize**):

1. Select a **Products** template to edit.
2. Under the **Product overview** section, click **(+) Add block** and select **Star rating**.
3. Click on the Star rating block to adjust star color, size, alignment, and context
4. (*Optional*.) Click and hold the drag handles **`⋮⋮`** to rearrange the blocks:

   > Click **Remove block** in the block settings to delete a block.

   > Click the **Eye icon** to hide or unhide a block.

### **Customize rating star styles**

In your theme editor (**Customize**):

1. Click on the new **Star rating** block to open the settings.
2. Change the **Star color**.
3. Change the **Star size** using the slider. Choose between **10px** and **25px**.
4. Select the **Alignment** to position the stars on the **Left**, **Center**, or **Right** side of the page.
5. (*Optional*.) Change the **Badge text with no reviews**.
6. Click **Save**.
