# Use default colors

{% hint style="danger" %} Theme retirement | Context is no longer available on the Shopify theme store. **Theme support and updates for current users will end after May 18, 2024**. [Learn more here](/context/readme/theme-retirement.md).
{% endhint %}

Find a color you want to use on this list of [140 default web colors](https://htmlcolorcodes.com/color-names/), then enter that exact color name as the **Option value** for a product variant in your Shopify admin.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Note |** These default color names will appear on your product pages and in the cart. In order to choose your own product variant name or different color, you will need to use [custom swatch images](https://github.com/fluorescent/kb-context/blob/main/product-pages/variant-swatches/use-custom-image.md).
