Collection list

The Collection list section adds a list of collections as a section on your home page. You can choose which of your collections are displayed.

Add a collection list to your home page

To set up a collection list:

From your theme’s “Customize” screen, choose Home page from the pages drop-down menu at the top of the screen.
Scroll down the list of home page settings until you see the Add section button.
Choose Collection list from the list of sections, and press the Add button.
Use the Add collection button to add up to 12 collections.

Use the Select collection button to select from your store’s product collections. You can use the Edit collection link if the collection isn’t quite right yet.

You can also use the Remove content button to remove a collection from this section entirely.
Change the Heading text.
Change the Collections per row.
Use the Back to settings (<) button to go back to all of the home page settings again. Use the drag handles to rearrange the order of your home page sections:
Use the Save button in the top-right corner when you are finished editing.

In addition to the home page, the collection list section can be added to the Collection pages template.

From your theme’s “Customize” screen, choose Collection pages from the pages drop-down menu at the top of the screen.
Scroll down the list of available settings until you find Collection list. Click on it.
Check the Enable checkbox to show this section.
Use the Add collection button to add up to 12 collections.

Use the Select collection button to select from your store’s product collections. You can use the Edit collection link if the collection isn’t quite right yet.

You can also use the Remove content button to remove a collection from this section entirely.
Change the Heading text.
Change the Collections per row.
Use the Save button in the top-right corner when you are finished editing.

For each collection you add, the following setting is available:

The collection list section has the following settings:

Enable: Check this checkbox to enable the collection list section.
This setting does is not available when adding a section to the home page. To disable this section from appearing on the home page you need to use the Remove section button from within the section’s settings list.
Heading: Add heading text to be displayed above the list of collections.
We recommend keeping this to only a few words long.
Collections per row: Choose how many collections should be displayed per row. You can choose between 2 and 4 collections.
Note that there’s a total of 12 collections you can display as part of this section.
