# Search page

The **Search template** controls settings and styles for the search results page.

Create custom filters, select result types, and add "synonym groups" to show relevant results. ## **Set up search page**

In the theme editor, you can customize content, settings, and overall page design with theme sections.

In your theme editor (**Customize**):

1. Use the **Templates selector** to open **Other > Search**.
2. Under **Template**, click the **Search** section to open the settings.

3. Click **Save**.

## Settings summary

Click the **Search page** section to find the following settings:

| Setting            | Description                                                                                                                                                |
| ------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Show filters       | Allow customers to filter search results by product options, type, price, availability, and more.                                                          |
| Show sort options  | Allow customers to sort search results by relevance or price.                                                                                              |
| Products per row   | Choose how many results appear in each row.                                                                                                                |
| Products per page  | Choose how many results appear per page. Additional results are viewed by clicking "Load more".                                                            |
| Image aspect ratio | Choose to display search result images as Square, Landscape, or Portrait. The default Natural setting will display the original orientation of each image. |
