# Empty cart promotion

In the **Quick cart**, the **Empty cart promotion** displays selected collections to help customers to start shopping when they haven't yet added products to their cart.

<summary><mark style="color:blue;"><strong>STEPS</strong></mark></summary>

In your theme editor (**Customize**):

1. Under “Overlay”, click the **Quick cart** section to open the settings.
2. Enter **Text** to display above the promoted collection links.
3. Click **Select collections**.
4. Click the collections you want to promote, then click **Select**.
5. (*Optional*.) Use the drag-and-drop icons to re-order the collections.
6. Select a **Collection button style**: either **Outline** or **Solid**.
7. Click **Save**.
