Add quote blocks

Add Quote blocks with quote text, author names, and logo images. You can adjust the font size of the quote text.

If you add more than one quote block, they will autorotate by default. To change the time between quotes or stop quotes from quote blocks from automating, see the Quotes autoplay settings.

STEPS

In your theme editor (Customize):

  1. Click (+) Add Quote and/or click on the Quote block to open the settings.

  2. (Optional) Click Select image to add a small logo image above the quote text.

We recommend a small square image between 70 to 100 px.

You can change the Quotes section Pagination to use Logo images instead of Dots.

  3. Add Quote text.

Use the formatting buttons to add text styles, links, or lists. To learn more, see Shopify's Rich text editor guide ↗.

  4. Enter the Author name to display below the quote text.

  5. Change the Quote font size to Small, Medium, or Large.

  6. (Optional.) Use the drag and drop handles ⋮⋮ to change the order of the quote blocks.

Click the Remove block button in the block settings to remove a quote block.

  7. Click Save.

Autoplay settings

By default, multiple quotes will auto-rotate every 7 seconds. Change the time between quotes or disable autoplay to let customers click through quotes manually.

Turning off autoplay can make your online store accessible to more customers, including people with disabilities. Learn more about accessibility for themes to help make the web inclusive and usable for everyone.
