The Search template controls settings and styles for the search results page.

Shopify | You can customize search results with Shopify's Search & Discovery app. Create custom filters, select result types, and add "synonym groups" to show relevant results. See Shopify's App guide to learn more.

Set up search page

In the theme editor, you can customize content, settings, and overall page design with theme sections.

STEPS

In your theme editor (Customize):

  1. Use the Templates selector to open Other > Search.

  2. Under Template, click the Search section to open the settings.

    See the available Search page settings below.

  3. Click Save.

Settings summary

Click the Search page section to find the following settings:

Show filters

Allow customers to filter search results by product options, type, price, availability, and more.

Show sort options

Allow customers to sort search results by relevance or price.

Products per row

Choose how many results appear in each row.

Products per page

Choose how many results appear per page. Additional results are viewed by clicking "Load more".

Image aspect ratio

Choose to display search result images as Square, Landscape, or Portrait. The default Natural setting will display the original orientation of each image.
