# Language and currency

Allow your customers to shop in their preferred language and currency. The language and country selectors appear in the top-right of the header.

### <mark style="color:$primary;">Language selector</mark>

Stiletto supports selling in multiple languages. After you have [added and published languages](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/markets/languages/translate) to your store, enable the **Language selector** to let customers select their preferred language.

Stiletto comes with translations for default theme text in 4 languages: **French**, **German**, **Italian**, and **Spanish**.

{% hint style="info" %}
See our [Selling in multiple languages guide](/stiletto/general/adapting-your-theme/multiple-languages.md) to learn more. You can **add multiple languages** in your Shopify admin and use a translation app to **translate your store content**.
{% endhint %}

### <mark style="color:$primary;">Country selector</mark>

Enable the **Country selector** to let customers to view your products with their preferred currency. The selector displays countries with their currencies supported in your [Shopify Market settings](https://www.shopify.com/admin/settings/markets).

{% hint style="success" %}
Selling in [multiple currencies](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/markets/pricing) is a Shopify feature. Only stores using Shopify Payments can use this feature.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.fluorescent.co/stiletto/pages/header/language-and-currency.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
