Use the Featured collection section to display products from a selected collection as either a grid or as a single-row slider that visitors can click or swipe through.
When Quick View or Quick add are enabled, customers can add products to their cart without leaving the page.
Add this section to any template (except Checkout) and use the drag-and-drop handles to re-order its position. You can add this section multiple times with different content and settings
Under Template, click (+) Add section and select Featured collection.
Click and hold the drag-and-drop handles ⋮⋮ to re-order your sections.
Select featured collection
Select a Collection to display with adjustable rows and columns.
STEPS
In your theme editor (Customize):
Click the Featured collection section to open the settings.
Use the Select collection button find the collection you want to feature.
We recommend collections with at least 4 products.
Click Save.
Add section content
Add section headings and an optional button that can link to your collection or another page.
STEPS
In your theme editor (Customize):
Click the Featured collection section to open the settings.
Choose whether to Center header content above the section.
Enter Accent text to display a small label above the heading.
Enter Heading text to display a section title.
Enter Subheading text to display below the heading.

Set Maximum text width between 400 and 1000 pixels.
Use this setting to control the line breaks of your headings and text.
Select or paste a URL for the Button link and enter text for the Button label. Add up to two buttons.
Select a Button style: Primary button (Solid), Secondary button (Solid), Tertiary button (Outline), or Text.
Select a Buttons position: either Header (below section headings) or Footer (below section).
The most effective button labels ask customers to do something (e.g. Get started, Join us, Shop now). To learn more, read "What is a Call to Action?"
Click Save.
Change section layout
Select how many columns and products to display, and choose to show products in a Grid or single-row Slider.
When Quick View or Quick add are enabled, customers can add products to their cart without leaving the page.
STEPS
In your theme editor (Customize):
Click the Featured collection section to open the settings.
Use the slider to set the Maximum number of products to display from your collection. Between 3 and 15.
The products will display in the sort order as set in your Shopify admin settings. Learn more about admin settings for your collection pages layout ↗.
Select the Number of columns on desktop to show per row on desktop screens: 3, 4, or 5 columns.
Product image sizes will change according to the number of columns. On smaller browser sizes, the product grid may show fewer columns to adapt to the window width.
Select the Number of columns on mobile to show per row on mobile screens: either 1 or 2 columns.
Choose to Enable slider on desktop and mobile to show a single-row of products that rotates, instead of a grid.
Click Save.
Customize View all tile
Choose to display a "View all" tile at either the beginning or end of the product list. Change the headings, customize the colors, and choose to add a background image.
Tile headings
Add headings and text to the tile, change the text position, and customize the text and background colors.
STEPS
In your theme editor (Customize):
Click the Featured collection section to open the settings.
Add Accent text to show a small heading above the main tile heading.
Add Heading text to display as the tile title.
Add Text to display below the tile heading.
Select a Text position to display all headings in the Top left or Center of the tile.
Change the Color scheme of the text headings and background.
The Default option uses colors from your theme settings. You can select a variant scheme based on these default colors: either Inverse, Soft, Accent, or Sale. You may also select one of the two custom color schemas. Learn more about Color schemes.
Check the Override with custom colors to select colors separate from the color schemes.
Click Save.
Tile background image
Upload a image to display as the "View all" tile background. Apply a color or gradient Tint over the image, increase or decrease the Tint opacity, and select custom Colors for the tint and text.
STEPS
In your theme editor (Customize):
Click the Featured collection section to open the settings.
Select or upload an Image to display as the background of the tile.
There are no required pixel dimensions. We recommend a portrait orientation with a minimum height of 500 pixels.
Select an Image focal point to specify the main focus of your image and avoid unwanted cropping when the section adapts to different screen sizes.
Select From image to use the focal point set for the image when used anywhere on your store. To change the focal point, click the Edit button on the preview of the uploaded Image.
To set the focal point of the image for only this section, select Center, Top, Bottom, Left, or Right.
Under "View all" tile overlay, use the Tint opacity slider to change the transparency of the overlay.
Set the opacity to 0% to turn off the overlay color. If set to 100%, the overlay will be opaque and the image will not be visible.
For the Tint style, choose to use a Solid overlay color or Gradient overlay for the tint.
The gradient style fades across a range of hues. Select one of four options to change the angle and direction of the gradient.
Select the Override with custom colors option to change the Text and Tint colors to be different from the overlay colors in your theme settings.
Click Save.
Settings reference
Click the Featured collection section to find the following settings.
Choose to display headings as center-aligned within section. Uncheck this option to align headings to the left.
Accent
Add text to show a small heading above the main section heading.
Heading
Add text to show a main heading above the section.
Subheading
Add text to show a subheading below the main heading.
Maximum text width
Set the maximum width of heading text between 400 and 1000 pixels.
Button link
Select or paste a URL for a button that links to another page.
You can add up to three buttons below the section heading.
Button label
Enter call-to-action text to display as the button label. The most effective button labels ask customers to do something (e.g. Get started, Join us, Shop now).
Button style
Choose a style for the button. Select Primary button (Solid), Secondary button (Solid), Tertiary button (Outline), or Text.
Buttons position
Choose to show the buttons either in the Header (below the headings) or in the Footer (below the product rows).
In the footer position, the button is always centered.
Select collection
Select a collection to display its products. Collections are created and edited in your Shopify admin.
Maximum number of products
Set the maximum number of products to display within in the section: between 3 and 15.
Number of columns on desktop
Choose how many products to show per row on desktop screens: either 3, 4, or 5 columns.
Number of columns on mobile
Choose how many collections to show per row on mobile screens: either 1 or 2 columns.
Enable slider on desktop
Display products in a single-row carousel that visitors can click through to view more.
Enable slider on mobile
Display products in a single-row carousel that visitors can swipe left and right view more.
Show “View all” tile
Show a tile at the beginning or end of the product list to link to the collection page.
Heading
Add text to show a heading for the “View all” tile.
Text
Add text to show below the heading. The default text is “Shop all”.
Color scheme
Change the color scheme applied to the section text and background.
Select the Default color scheme from your theme settings or select a variant scheme based on the default colors: either Inverse, Soft, Accent, or Sale. You may also select one of the two custom color schemas.
Choose to crop all images to be a single uniform shape. Select Portrait (2:3), Portrait (4:5), Square (1:1), Landscape (5:4), or Landscape (3:2). Select Natural to display images in their original shape (without cropping).

Override with custom colors
Check this option to use custom colors for the section.
These colors will override the color scheme.
Text color
Select a custom color for the heading and text of the “View all” tile.
This setting applies only if the Override with custom colors option is enabled.
Background color
Select a custom color for background the “View all” tile.
This setting applies only if the Override with custom colors option is enabled.
Image
Select an image to display as the background of the title.
The image will override the color scheme and use the overlay colors selected in your theme settings.
Image focal point
Select the most important part of your image to keep centered. Use focal points to avoid unwanted cropping across different screen sizes.
You can specify a focal point for an image used within a section or for an uploaded image file. Learn more in our Image settings guide.
Tint opacity
Use the slider to adjust the transparency of the overlay color.
Set the opacity to 0% to turn off the overlay color. If set to 100%, the overlay will be opaque.
Tint style
Choose to use a Solid overlay color or Gradient overlay for the tint. The gradient style fades across a range of hues.
You can select the angle and direction of the gradient from one of four options.
Override with custom colors
Check this option to use custom overlay colors for the tint. These colors will override the overlay colors selected in your theme settings.
Text color
Select a custom color for the heading and text of the “View all” tile.
This setting applies only if the Override with custom colors option is enabled.
Tint color
Select a custom overlay text color for the tint.
This setting applies only if the Override with custom colors option is enabled.
Top spacing
Increase or decrease the amount of space above the section.
Bottom spacing
Increase or decrease the amount of space below the section.
Enable animation
Choose whether to display visual effects when scrolling, hovering, or interacting with the section.
